The Mingle stands for modern living with that certain something extra. Our extensive communal facilities and services make your life easier – and more beautiful. Here is an overview of the highlights that await all residents:
Shared kitchen & lounge
On the ground floor, a large shared kitchen invites you to cook together. Whether you want to spontaneously make pasta or plan a dinner party, this is the place to get together. Right next door, you will find the lounge area: comfortable sofas, a large TV for movie nights and even a games area with a pool table and table football. Perfect for getting to know your flatmates and spending evenings in good company.
Laundromat 2.0
No more fighting over the only machine – we have our own laundromat in the building. Five modern Miele washing machines and three dryers are waiting for your laundry. You can use an app to see which machines are free at any time and even reserve them. Doing laundry becomes a breeze – and while the machine is running, you can relax in the lounge next door. (By the way, there are also ironing stations if your trousers need to be smooth.)
High-speed Internet &
Smart Living
Whether you’re studying, working, or streaming, Wi-Fi is available throughout the building and included in the rent. Enjoy unlimited high-speed internet. Common areas and lighting are centrally managed, ensuring an energy-efficient and secure home.
Bicycle parking & repair station
Kiel is a real cycling city – and we actively support that. In the courtyard, we offer numerous bicycle parking spaces and a handy bicycle repair station where you can pump up your tyres and carry out minor repairs free of charge. That way, your bike is always ready for your next ride.
Car sharing & mobility
Do you occasionally need a car but don’t want to own one? We have the solution: a car-sharing vehicle is available right next to the building. Our partnership with a car-sharing provider allows you to use a car at any time – whether for your weekly shopping or a trip to the beach. In addition, our central location provides excellent bus and train connections. Several bus stops are just a few minutes’ walk away.
Community & Events
The Mingle stands for community and mixing. And we want to actively promote that. Our idea: regular community events such as cooking evenings, game tournaments (billiards king/queen, anyone?) or summer barbecues in the courtyard. We are also planning a community group where you can find neighbours who want to go jogging together or are looking for a study group partner, for example.

And, of course, our entire building is designed to be barrier-free: an elevator from the ground floor to the attic and wide doors – so that everyone feels comfortable here.
